Save the date! The next NIA International business group will be taking place on Monday 7 & Tuesday 8 October.

On 7/8 October 2024, the NIA International Group will be hosting an event to showcase to overseas markets, the capabilities of its members across six key nuclear areas:

  • New Build
  • Decommissioning & Waste Management
  • SMRs
  • Fusion
  • Fuel cycle

Last year the NIA asked its members to identify the overseas markets of most interest to them. As such the following five countries are being asked to attend and participate:

  • Canada
  • Sweden/ Germany
  • South Korea
  • France
  • Poland

The event will comprise a series of panel sessions, one for each nuclear area identified above. Each session will have speakers from both the UK, showcasing UK capability; and overseas identifying upcoming opportunities in their markets in that area.

The objectives of the event are to:

  • showcase UK supply chain capability, products/ services across key nuclear areas
  • learn about overseas demand for those products/ services
  • build collaborative relationships with key overseas markets
  • understand overseas aspirations to work in the UK and partnering with the UK supply chain to work abroad.

The event will be free to NIA members to attend thanks to our venue hosts and sponsors. There will however be a pay-your-own-way dinner on the Monday night – details to follow.
