Global Energy Transition (GET) Congress & Exhibition taking place 1-3 July 2024, in Milan, Italy, is the pioneering global event shaping the future of the energy industry.

Over three days, attendees will explore cutting-edge technologies, discuss sustainable energy strategies, and engage in high-level networking. The conference agenda has been developed after extensive consultation with the GET Congress Steering Committee, an international body of experts spanning the energy, finance and hard-to-abate sectors. The key themes have been identified as the following:

GET the bigger picture

The strategic conference includes the opening ceremony, keynote addresses, fire-side chats, ministerial and CEO lead panels and global business leader sessions. Speakers will represent the energy value chain, hard-to-abate sectors, finance and entrepreneurs. These thought leaders, decision-makers and innovators will explore tangible and pragmatic solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

 

GET round the table

The leadership round-tables will host participating policy makers, business leaders, NGOs and thought leaders from across the energy and manufacturing value chain, who will take part in round-table discussions on how to accelerate the energy transition across countries and industry. Held under the Chatham House rule, the dialogue will foster frank, honest and practical exchanges.

 

GET involved

Individuals operating in sectors including Energy, Low-Carbon Solutions, Utilities, Cement, Steel, Mining, Heavy-duty transport, Chemicals, Ceramics, Hydrogen, CCUS, DAC, Big-Tech and more are encouraged to submit a project or abstract.

Selected projects at the GET Congress and Exhibition have a unique opportunity to present a concise 15-minute overview at the Project X-Change, a central, free-to-attend theatre on the exhibition floor designed to inspire scale-up and replication. These projects also get the chance to showcase their work through a digital poster exhibition and receive promotion on the GET website. For those projects already underway, it’s a chance to inspire and gather feedback. For those projects yet to achieve final investment decision (FID), this is an opportunity to present ideas to an audience which includes potential investors.
