TAGSI/FESI Symposium 2018

TAGSI (UK Technical Advisory Group on the Structural Integrity of high integrity plant) and FESI (UK Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity) are pleased to announce an upcoming symposium on “Structural Integrity and Materials in Nuclear Power Plant”, to be held on the 18th April 2018 at TWI. This will be held in the memory of Professor John Knott OBE, FRS, FREng who was very well known and respected within the structural integrity community and was heavily involved in TAGSI and FESI for many years and was the Chairman of TAGSI since 2011.

The programme will be finalised over the coming months but the symposium, as with previous, similar events over recent years, will provide talks from leading experts in the nuclear industry to provide an overview of structural integrity issues and methodologies for existing and future plants. The event will coincide with the 30th Anniversary of TAGSI and this one-day symposium will also include the recent studies undertaken by TAGSI as well as highlighting the role and influence of TAGSI over the past 30 years.

Further details will be provided in due course so, please reserve the date and feel free register for the event.  The delegate fee is £220 + VAT, the discounted rate is £177 + VAT (for TAGSI/ FESI and ESIS members) or £60.00 + VAT (retired persons or full-time students).  The fee includes, lunch, refreshments, documentation and a symposium workbook.
