Outward Mission to China

The Department for International Trade (DIT) and China-Britain Business Council will be leading a UK delegation of companies as 2017 Nuclear Outward Mission, to participate in a programme based at the 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry. By working closely with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), a workshop focusing on decommissioning and waste management especially linked with Qinshan project will be held to discuss what UK can offer during the process.

Mission Programme

The mission will provide UK delegates with the opportunity to be part of the UK Pavilion at the 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry, from April 27-29 in Beijing. As well as participating in the exhibition, we will arrange a program including potential site visit, one to one meetings with key Chinese nuclear players and a seminar to further explore the collaboration in China, UK and third markets.

Mondoy 24 – Wednesday 26 April, 2017:
– Workshop on Decommissioning and Waste Management with CNNC
– Site Visit to Qinshan Nuclear plant (TBC)

Thursday 27 – Saturday 29 April, 2017:
– Participate and exhibit at UK Pavilion on the 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry
– One to One meetings with Key Chinese nuclear players

UK delegates who join the mission require certain contribution to support the programme arrangements as well as UK pavilion hiring and decoration.
