Fusion Technology Facility Workshops

15 February — 27 February 2018

Multiple Locations

Organiser: UKAEA

The UKAEA has launched a series of Fusion Technology Facility (FTF) information and requirements workshops to mark the launch of the new Technology Facilities at the Culham Science Centre.

The purpose of these workshops is to promote working in partnership with the industrial supply chain and UK academia, as well as putting UK companies in a strong position to exploit the commercialisation of fusion in the long-term. Although aimed principally at fusion, the facilities will be available for other applications and the workshops welcome input in all areas, particularly for partners to develop and deliver the thermo-electro-mechanical testing facility.

Workshops will begin around 10:30 and will finish around 15:00, subject to local arrangement; lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Places are limited and by personal invitation only. To RSVP contact with the name of the location you wish to attend. If you cannot attend and would like to nominate another representative of your organisation, please let UKAEA know their name and which location they will attend.

The next three workshops will be held on the following dates:

Thursday 15 February 2018, hosted by Frazer-Nash Consultancy Ltd, at The Bristol Hotel:

Tuesday 20 February 2018, hosted by Manchester University, at the Manchester Conference Centre:

Tuesday 27 February 2018, hosted by NAMRC, at the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Centre:
