The 2019 Open Meeting of COGER (The Co-ordinating Group for Environmental Radioactivity) will take place at the University of Bristol. The meeting will start at midday on Wednesday 24 April and finish on Friday 26 April 2019.

The main purpose of the COGER Open Meeting is informal discussion of active and proposed research concerning all aspects of environmental radioactivity. The meeting is at the University of Bristol in order that we can link with the South West Nuclear Hub – a major initiative for stakeholders of all the nuclear industries.  As part of the meeting The Food Standards Agency and Public Health England will together deliver a session on emergency preparedness for radioactive contamination in the UK.
