Following the successful establishment of the World Nuclear Transport Conference as an annual forum in 2025, they are pleased to announce that abstract submissions are now officially open for WNTC 2026.
This year’s theme ‘The Bridge Between Policy and Practice’ reflects the challenges of rapid technological shifts facing the industry today.

WNTI invites industry experts, researchers, and regulators to submit abstracts for technical presentations and strategic discussions. They are seeking contributions across the following key themes:
- Spent Fuel and Radioactive Waste Management: Insights into decommissioning and long-term storage solutions.
- Transport of NORM, Medical Isotopes, and Industrial Sources: Addressing the logistics of life-saving materials.
- Safety, Security, and Regulations: Navigating the evolving global regulatory landscape.
- The Future of Nuclear Applications: Preparing for HALEU, floating power plants, and small modular reactors.
- Cross-Cutting Theme: Regional Perspective – Asia Oceanic: A cross-cutting look at the fastest-growing nuclear region.
- Cross-Cutting Theme: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Integrating sustainability into the transport lifecycle.
