A huge thank you to NIA Member NSG for hosting us for the first DWM Group meeting of 2026.
We are heading to Chorley on Thursday 23 April to discuss Sellafield Frameworks, AI in the nuclear decommissioning sector, and how the supply chain can engage early with NTS. There will be a tour after the agenda closes, hosted by NSG, to show us round their workshop, test rigs, and air-fed suit training centre.

NIS are a design and manufacturing organisation who has been supporting the nuclear industry for over 40 years, providing plant and equipment to major projects across Sellafield, UKNNL, NRS and AWE. Currently dominated by glovebox and containment projects, a tour of NIS will provide an understanding of bespoke engineering challenges. Visitors will get a clear impression of a highly capable, end-to-end engineering company operating in complex, safety-critical industries such as nuclear and defence. The visit also highlights NIS’s investment in modern infrastructure, workforce development through apprenticeships, and its role as both a key regional employer and contributor to major nuclear engineering projects.

Please note that you have until 15 April to cancel your invoice if you can not longer attend the dinner. If you do not cancel your invoice before then, and you can’t make it, you will still be expected to pay as final numbers and payment will have been made to the restaurant.
We will be dining at the Park Hall Hotel for our PYOW dinner in Chorley. The set menu is below, if you are vegetarian, please ensure you let us know in your registration form at the bottom of this page.
