The UK's largest tunnelling conference and exhibition.
The BTS 2024 Conference and Exhibition is the largest gathering of tunnelling professionals in the UK. Taking place on October 8 – 9, 2024 at the QEII Conference Centre, Westminster, London, this event is an essential meeting point for everyone involved in the design, construction and operation/maintenance of today’s underground infrastructure.
There’s no looking back for this year’s BTS 2024 Conference & Exhibition, we’ve decided to focus on the future at the 2024 event, and will be shining the spotlight on innovative technologies, including the much misunderstood sector of AI in tunnelling, the effect of underground construction on the environment and how to minimise its impacts, alongside the usual mix of projects and new developments that are pushing the limits of engineering. Of course, also featuring over the two days will be our sometimes heated, often humorous, but always revealing in-depth panel discussions!
We’ve almost completed the speaker line-up with well over 20 presentations already booked in, ranging from cutting edge TBM developments, sustainable tunnelling in the face of climate change, The David Wallis Lecture, site reports from HS2, Woodsmith Mine, Gothenburg and Stockholm, a complete session on contemporary tunnel lining solutions, and another session dedicated entirely to the small bore sector – which is looking increasingly like the UK’s next big market!
Delegate registration is only £225.00 for BTS members and £275.00 for non-members. This option will give you access to the conference speaker room, the exhibition hall, lunch and coffee provided on both days, and access to the BTS drinks reception on the Tuesday night from 6.30pm
Visitor registration is free but only gives access to the exhibition hall. It does not give access to the conference speaker room or lunch/coffee.
