Film screening and Director Q&A
Dalton Nuclear Institute are hosting a FREE screening of the documentary ‘The Babushkas of Chernobyl’ followed by a Q&A with the film’s Director, Holly Morris, on Wednesday 29 October from 17:00 – 19:30.
The Babushkas of Chernobyl is an internationally acclaimed documentary film telling the story of the women who, 30 years after the Chernobyl disaster, fiercely cling to their ancestral homeland inside the radioactive ‘Exclusion Zone’.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion with the film’s Director, Holly Morris, chaired by Professor Richard Taylor, BNFL Chair in Nuclear Energy Systems at the Dalton Nuclear Institute.
