NUVIA is pleased to announce it can now offer an HSE Approved Service to provide External Dosimetry to clients using the Mirion DMC 3000 Electronic Dosimeter.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is Britain’s national regulator for workplace health and safety.
At present, NUVIA is the only UK organization approved by the HSE to provide this service using the DMC 3000 dosimeter. This is further complemented by its expertise and capability to provide approved Record Keeping, passive External Dosimetry and Internal Dosimetry Services.
The DMC 3000 dosimeter was developed by Mirion Technologies over two decades ago using experience and knowledge gained from real-world electronic dosimetry capabilities, and continually refined through customer feedback. It is currently the global reference in active dosimetry with more than 250,000 units deployed as of today.
The DMC 3000 dosimeter offers several key advantages:
