On 9 October, the Dalton Nuclear Institute celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a drinks reception in the impressive surroundings of the Manchester Museum.
Around 140 invited guests – from the Dalton community (in Manchester and Cumbria), the wider University of Manchester, government, academia and industry gathered to celebrate two decades of research, achievement and impact. As well as enjoying canapes and some very special cakes, the guests heard short speeches from our Dalton Director, Prof Zara Hodgson, and from the newly appointed Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Prof Sarah Sharples.
