New dedicated brand targets critical skills gaps across the nuclear sector
The nuclear training provision delivered by 3D 360 Skills Training has a new identity. 360 Nuclear Skills Training launches as a dedicated brand, giving the sector’s workforce development work the profile and platform it deserves.
This is an evolution, not a reinvention. The programmes, the team and the commitment to building nuclear workforce capability remain exactly as they were. What’s new is that nuclear skills training now has its own home, its own name and a sharper focus on the demands of a civil nuclear sector that has never needed skilled people more urgently.
As the UK’s civil nuclear ambitions grow, from new build and SMRs through to decommissioning and the wider supply chain, the demand for qualified, job-ready professionals continues to accelerate. 360 Nuclear Skills Training exists to meet that demand.
Current programmes include the Project Management for Nuclear (PFQ) Level 4 Accelerated Course, the Nuclear Induction Course, Nuclear and Project Essentials and Advanced Manufacturing, with a pipeline of new accredited courses aligned with the Nuclear Skills Plan and shaped by what employers are actually asking for.
The portfolio supports career switchers, those new to the sector and experienced professionals needing rapid upskilling for live project delivery. For employers, 360 Nuclear Skills Training delivers fast, employer-aligned pathways that bring qualified people into the sector at pace, with inclusivity and equal opportunities at the core.
Both the Project Management for Nuclear Skills Bootcamp and the Fast Track Project Management for Nuclear programme lead to the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification at
Level 4, giving delegates a recognised, portable credential that carries weight across the sector.
Alongside the core portfolio, the turnkey social value programme, Nuclear Projects Essentials, delivers employer-funded project management training for 16 to 18 year olds, opening a practical pathway into the sector for the next generation of nuclear professionals.
Last month, the team was recognised with the NSAN People Power Award: Skills Leading Change, an acknowledgement from the sector of the genuine impact their work is having on nuclear workforce development.
Paul Bullock, Managing Director of 360 Nuclear Skills Training, said:
“Launching 360 Nuclear Skills Training as a dedicated brand is a significant moment for us. I started my own career as an apprentice at British Nuclear Fuels Limited and went on to hold senior roles on some of Europe’s most complex decommissioning projects. I know first-hand what the right training and the right opportunity can do for someone. Nuclear deserves its own identity, its own voice and the profile to match. We’re proud of what the team has built, and we’re just getting started.”
360 Nuclear Skills Training is accepting enquiries from employers and learners now. Full programme details are available at 360nuclearskillstraining.com.
