New NIA member Stephenson Harwood hosted a panel event titled 'The Advanced Nuclear era in France and the UK'
On the 15th December at their Paris office, the event was attended by an audience of 60 guests, from Advanced Modular Reactor developers, investors, and other industry stakeholders from both the UK and France. The event consisted of twin panel sessions, featuring both UK and French industry experts, to compare and contrast Advanced Nuclear Technology (ANT) development and potential investment opportunities across both countries and markets, and concluded with a lively Q&A session and networking. The France panel session was moderated by partner Guillaume Briant, with panellists including: Bruno Rodrigues of EDF, Stephenson Harwood partner Clotilde Billat, strategy & corporate development director Florian de Beauchaine, and NuMergA director Axel Canbakan.
The UK panel session was moderated by Northcourt director Zemfira Knott, with panellists including the NIA Director of Policy and External Affairs Lincoln Hill, Northcourt senior underwriter Mark Tetley, and Stephenson Harwood head of nuclear Chris White.
