Welcoming CBI Scotland’s call for the country’s position on nuclear to be reassessed “to ensure the country does not miss out on the jobs and investment” (link), Tom Greatrex, Nuclear Industry Association CEO, said:
“If Scotland wants to secure high-value jobs and investment, it cannot afford to sit on the sidelines as new nuclear projects move ahead elsewhere. The Scottish Government should be doing everything it can to help Scottish businesses win work in the nuclear sector, because the scale of investment and the opportunity for skilled, well-paid jobs is significant, and growing.”
