The Nuclear Institute's 9th Modelling in Nuclear Science and Engineering Conference will take place on the 5th & 6th November 2026 at Manchester Hall, Manchester.
The conference will bring together the modelling community to share best practices in techniques and to improve the design and operation of nuclear energy generation, processing, and storage facilities, including power plants, with the aim of protecting society by improving the safety of these facilities.
The goal of scientific modelling is to make the design’s features and performance easier to understand, quantify, visualise, or simulate through rigorous scientific methods.
This Conference will provide a platform to highlight exciting new modelling methods and applications.
This year’s conference also includes:
- Evening reception and networking event
