Young Generation Nuclear is pleased to launch the third year of the Innovate for Nuclear (I4N) UK Competition.
This opportunity promises lots of benefits, including mentorship, excellent industry experience, and the chance to present your ideas to senior leaders within the nuclear industry, with representatives from Arup, Frazer-Nash, and NDA group confirmed.
This exciting competition involves grouping up into teams of 1-4 to create a project detailing a solution to help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The four highest scoring teams will be selected to compete in the UK final in Birmingham on the 16th of April 2026. Each finalist team will be given a mentor – someone with significant industry experience under their belt to coach the teams to their best. They will then present their work to expert judges with senior knowledge of all things nuclear!
Winners of the UK I4N will get the chance to compete in the European Finals on the 12th of June 2026 and win some prizes. The winners will have their transport and accommodation costs for the European I4N contest covered completely!
