With the upcoming General Election on July 4, the Nuclear Industry Association’s Chief Executive, Tom Greatrex, presented a webinar to NIA Members covering the NIA’s political engagement plan and the ‘Nuclear Manifestos.’ Tom provided an update on the current ‘Purdah’ rules limiting the work the Civil Service can take forward during this period, the current political landscape and an overview of how NIA members can engage with local Prospective Parliamentary Candidates.
