Waste Management (WM) Symposia hold an international conference for the management of radioactive waste and related topics.
WM provides open forums for discussing and seeking safe, environmentally responsible, technically sound and cost effective solutions to the management and disposition of radioactive wastes and the decommissioning of nuclear facilities to enhance the transparency and credibility of the global radioactive waste industry.
Each year this event takes place in Phoenix, Arizona in March and is attended by professionals across the globe. Each year the event has a country focus and in 2027 this will be the turn of the UK. The UK was last featured country in 2022 and over 200 UK professionals attended on top of the 2500 international attendees (largely from America).
To compliment the presentations there is a large exhibition at the event and the UK will have a pavilion for organisations to be part of. The pavilion will include the NDA Group, UKNNL, AWE and DBT and we will look to compliment this by including the supply chain companies.
