Learn more about Wylfa Newydd at May Open Surgery
04 May 2018
Horizon Nuclear Power is inviting local people to meet the team at its next Open Surgery on Monday 14 May to learn more about the Wylfa Newydd Project.
Running from 1pm to 7pm at Cemaes Village Hall, these drop-in events offer local people an opportunity to meet the team in an informal environment and find out more about the Wylfa Newydd Project. No appointments are required.
Delyth Owen, Horizon’s Community Involvement Officer, said:
“Our Open Surgeries are a great way for people to learn more about the Project and our work within the local community. Meeting members of our site-based team in person gives people the chance to get to know us better and ask any questions they may have about our plans to build Wylfa Newydd.
“In addition to our ongoing site work, we’ve also been busy planning an exciting programme for this year’s Work Insight Week. This summer, we’ll give up to 28 students from years’ 11, 12 and 13, from schools across Anglesey and north Gwynedd, the chance to see what it’s like to work on a project like Wylfa Newydd.”
