23 July 2020

NIS are delighted to be working alongside Frazer-Nash Consultancy on the UK Atomic Energy Authority Engineering Design Services Framework (EDS) framework applying our UK nuclear fission experience to benefit fusion.

• Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) can benefit from 35 years’ experience on infrastructure projects for the UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and the Ministry of Defence

• Hydrogen-3 Advanced Technology (H3AT) can benefit from experience of 300+ gloveboxes and integrated process systems

• Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE) can benefit from broad and diverse portfolio of remote mechanical handling systems

• Materials Research Facility (MRF) can benefit from experience of shielded and contained nuclear facilities in UK fission.

NIS are very proud to support Frazer-Nash with process engineering; computer-based modelling and simulation; electrical control and instrumentation (EC&I); and specialist nuclear services and other framework holders with mechanical engineering.
