Those of you who attended previously will know that these events are a chance to hear from subject matter experts on a variety of tender themes. There’s an opportunity as well for networking with our colleagues from the Supply Chain Directorate, Quality, Group Business Services, Environment, AI and Robotics, among others. We’re also delighted to welcome our engineering team at the events. We are certain that you will appreciate this direct communication with all of them.
Last year’s event covered discussions including, but not limited to:
- Market engagement and procurement process
- Procurement categories
- Social value
- Tender safety assessment
- Supplier relationship management
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
We welcome businesses of all sizes who are new to Sellafield Ltd, or already within our supply chain. To get the most value from the day, we recommend companies send representatives responsible for bid writing for your company.
At Sellafield Ltd, we are committed to inclusive workplaces where everyone can be themselves, be respected for who that are and what they bring, and are able to perform at their best. Our suppliers must be equally committed to being inclusive at every level. Inclusivity naturally leads to diversity, both of thought and deed, and that leads to safer, higher performing and more innovative organisations, with richer discussions, new perspectives and a broad range of ideas being generated.
Please consider being inclusive when you think of representation from your company at our event, to make the event a diverse and enriching experience for all involved.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ATTENDING?
Suppliers who attend these events will be able to learn more about each stage of the tender process and put any specific questions to our subject matter experts. We will also have a breakout area with stands from our category teams who will be able to advise you with more specific queries. You only need to attend one of the dates to pick up all the helpful hints to support your bid writing.
