In reaction to Rolls-Royce SMR announcing its final shortlist for its first factory (link), the Nuclear Industry Association’s Chief Executive, Tom Greatrex, said:
“There is real momentum growing for SMRs in the UK. Building a fleet of these reactors with bring high-quality, skilled jobs, long term investment and opportunity and help strengthen the country’s energy security, with firm, clean, British power.”
