Cavendish Nuclear Elected to the OCNI Board

Cavendish Nuclear, part of the Babcock International Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine O’Reilly to the board of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI).
Catherine O’Reilly provides HR leadership for Cavendish Nuclear and Babcock in Canada, and her appointment was officially announced last week on November 28th at OCNI’s AGM and Awards Dinner.
Catherine’s focus is on establishing the Company as an employer of choice within the Canadian marine, aviation and nuclear sectors. She has launched several forward thinking HR initiatives and was recognized as a top employer for the National Capital Region in 2019.
Catherine brings to the OCNI board global HR best practices and years of experience that will help to contribute towards the development of a Canadian Nuclear labour strategy. One of her focuses will be helping to address the industry’s need for suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
