EDF Digital Pride Monday 1st August - Friday 5th August

EDF want to celebrate Pride because they have a shared responsibility to help move to a world free of discrimination and just like last year, EDF will be hosting a Digital Pride week. They recognise that the LGBTQ+ community often doesn’t have the same level of support frameworks around them, and that Pride is an important time when we all get together. EDF pride ourselves on being a fully inclusive employer, creating an environment where everyone can be themselves, but they also realise there is still a lot more to be done.

EDF are hosting a variety of digital events, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with you throughout the week!

  • Tuesday 2nd August (12:00-13:00) – Stonewall Housing: Stonewall Housing is the leading national charity supporting LGBTQ+ people in the UK who are experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. The charity provides safe accommodation, housing advice, mental health advocacy/support and will be joining us to talk about the very important work they do within the UK.
  • Wednesday 3rd August (12:00-13:00) – #YesSheCan: YesSheCan was formed at the end of 2018, and they work to support and inspire women to break their career glass ceiling. They provide upskilling, coaching and mentoring, and engaging with businesses to support them on their diversity journeys. They also help women be the best that they can be in their career. Before this session, we are asking all attendees to take the short interactive quiz to find out – we will be running through the results during the session.
  • Friday 5th August (16:00-18:00) – Your Pride Playlist with Rachel Cruz: We will be hosting a session on Twitch with DJ, Rachel Cruz, to finish off our Digital Pride Week. We will be hearing the pride anthems that mean the most to you – it will be a fabulous way to end the week.

You can sign up to the events here.

Request: – would love to receive your song submissions for our Pride playlist and DJ session on the Friday. When you think of Pride, what song comes to mind? Please send these through to us at @LGBT group, we can’t wait to hear them!
