The NIA runs a comprehensive series of Business Groups which focus on various aspects of the nuclear industry. The free meeting programme is led by industry for industry to ensure members get the most up-to-date and relevant information to grow their business.
Why should you attend?
These meetings aim to help you forge the right relationships and be among the first to hear about the latest industry developments. All companies which join the NIA have the opportunity to suggest people to join these Business Groups, and up to two people per organisation are able to attend the meetings.
Our members will meet more people, find new partners and increase their visibility across the nuclear sector through participation at these events.
The Decommissioning and Existing Generation group focuses on the key developments across the sector and act as a forum to share best practice, understand the strategic work programmes in the UK and abroad, as well as providing an opportunity for organisations to engage with the supply chain.
With 16GW of new nuclear power planned for UK shores, the New Build group looks at the latest developments for the supply chain across the sector. From discussing the engineering, procurement, and construction delivery teams, to site remediation works, this is the place to hear about contracts and delivery timelines.
As a pioneer of nuclear energy, the UK has a long history of nuclear development which can be exported across the world. The International Group will provide first-hand information on the opportunities arising across the globe, as well as help to provide contacts in those overseas markets.
The Legal and Financial Affairs group brings together legal and finance professionals to make sense of and advise NIA and its members on legislation and policy issues arising in the UK and overseas.
The fusion group, works with UKAEA to deliver information on the activity within the fusion market both in the UK and globally looking at where the UK can be involved.
The External Relations Steering Group ensures industry agrees common key messages and coordinates its activities to get those messages across to public and political stakeholders.
