Since joining Wood Mackenzie in 1996, Stewart has been involved in numerous electricity and energy consultancy projects on a worldwide basis (including Europe and the UK, East Asia and North Africa), as well as managing Wood Mackenzie's published gas and power research. From 1994 to 1996 Stewart was directly involved in developing several key aspects of UK's electricity market, initially working for Nuclear Electric (now British Energy) and later the Regional Electricity Companies. Previously at Nuclear Electric he worked on electricity market forecasting, analysis and strategy development. He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
