Director, Reactor Centre, Imperial College, London

Simon Franklin is the Director of Reactor Operations & Safety at Imperial College's research reactor in Silwood Park. His main research interests are in nuclear reactor engineering and physics. Most of his work involves the management and safe operation of the UK's last civil nuclear research reactor. He is also on the board of the British Nuclear Energy Society.
