Obama Says US Needs New Generation Of Nuclear Plants The NUCNET news agency reports that US president Barack Obama has said a new generation of nuclear power plants must be built to help fight climate change and in a drive for “more clean energy jobs”. Mr Obama said during his first State of the Union address to Congress this week: “…to create more of these clean energy jobs, we need more production, more efficiency, more incentives.
