UK government releases waste plans | Print |  E-mail
Thursday, 12 June 2008
The UK government has today released it’s White Paper on Managing Radioactive waste Safely.

The UK government has already decided upon a method for waste disposal - and there is now a timetable in place as well. This is important for the long-term management of our legacy waste and can give confidence that waste created through any nuclear new build will be properly disposed of. This represents an important step in long-term waste management in the UK.
