88% of the public believe that nuclear should be a central part of Britain's energy policy for the future.

In an online poll run by the Daily Telegraph, 88% of respondents backed nuclear whilst only 12% indicated opposition. NIA Chief Executive Keith Parker said, "this independent poll is further evidence of growing recognition that nuclear must be at the heart of a low-carbon, secure energy mix."
