Following the Government's support in the Energy White Paper of a new nuclear generation programme, the NDA announced on 11 January 2008 its intention to invite proposals which meet its strategic objectives and maximise value for the UK taxpayer.
In recognition of the current market interest the NDA is now starting a process to gauge the interest of parties wishing to use NDA land, the fuel manufacturing business at Springfields and its Uranic material. Details of the NDA sites, plants and materials can be found on their website
