Bush calls for more nuclear |

President Bush has used his latest State of the Union address to call for an expansion of the use of nuclear power in the USA. He also strongly criticised Congress for not being able pass a comprehensive Energy Bill in the last four years. He said that his administration would be base its energy policy on encouraging conservation, promoting alternative sources, modernising the electricity grid, and increasing home production, which will include safe, clean nuclear energy. |
