Hugh Collum, former Chairman of BNFL, has been awarded a knighthood in the Queens Birthday honours list. The award has been granted by the Queen in recognition of Mr Collum's services to the nuclear industry. Hugh Collum was succeeded as Chairman of BNFL by Gordon Campbell on 1 June this year.
