The YGN is part of the BNES formed specifically for the younger members of the industry. Our objectives are to encourage young people to enter and stay in the nuclear industry as well as to share knowledge and provide them with opportunities to learn about the industry. Anyone under 37 is eligible to participate in YGN activities!

As outgoing Chair of the YGN I have had fantastic experiences over the last few years. Recently I was proud to have the opportunity to address the Energy Choices conference, attended by MPs, government officials and leading scientists. What other industry would allow a young woman to take on such a high profile position, leading professional members of the younger generation?
