Ultra Electronics Limited, Nuclear Control Systems Ultra Electronics Nuclear Control Systems provides high integrity control systems and equipment for use in the nuclear and allied safety critical markets. The Company is working with Rolls Royce to reverse engineer, re-specify and re-design the reactor control and instrumentation system for UK submarines using obsolescence tolerant components. Using skills gained in implementing this programme and through acquisitions, strategic alliances and teaming, the business is growing a stream of nuclear programmes into the future. Scientifics Ltd From its Harwell laboratory, Scientifics are able to monitor, test and analyse for radioactivity in samples.
