The International Tokamak Experimental Reactor (ITER) will be built in Cadarache, France. It will cost about €5billion an presents many opportunities for UK companies.

Companies interested in supplying ITER should understand the technologies required and the contract opportunities. In order to help this process there will be a two-day workshop on the ITER project 13-14 December 2005, at the "Palau de Congressos de Catalunya", Barcelona, Spain. The workshop will cover technical and procurement issues as well as information on codes and standards for the ITER site.
