Keynote Speaker - Stephen Timms MP

Minister for Energy, Department of Trade and Industry
Stephen Timms joined the Department of Trade and Industry in May 2002 as E-Commerce Minister. He was appointed Minister for Energy, E-Commerce and Postal Services in June 2003.

He was previously Minister of State for Schools at the Department for Education and Skills, from June 2001. He was Financial Secretary to the Treasury from July 1999. He held the position of Minister of State for Social Security from January 1999 to July 1999, and Parliamentary Under Secretary, Department of Social Security between July 1998 and January 1999.
