Claire Gallery-Strong graduated BSc. Chemistry and Mathematics from University College, Galway in 1990 and after working for a year in Industry, an MSc in Forensic Science King's College, London in 1992 . She has worked in several chemistry fields including Environmental Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 1996 she joined BNFL and after a variety of jobs including R&T and Operations, is working as a project manager in the Engineering department at Sellafield. She joined the BNES YGN committee in 2000 and participated strongly in the rejuvenation of the YGN. Claire's also currently is the Chair of the UK YGN.
