Hannah joined the NIA in March 2011 as a Public Affairs Officer and works on a number of political and communication issues, including the NIA's Political Party Conference programme. In addition, Hannah also provides the Secretariat for the New Build Working Group.
Prior to Joining the NIA she spent 2 years working in the office of Rt. Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee, first as a Parliamentary Assistant and later as a Senior Parliamentary Officer. In this position Hannah undertook research on a wide range of subject matters including policing, immigration and Europe, as well as the role of press officer and the general management of the parliamentary team.
Hannah studied at Newcastle University and was awarded an undergraduate degree in BA Law with French and a postgraduate degree in MA European Union Studies. Immediately after University she completed an External Affairs Internship at the Institute of Public Policy Research (North). |
